How to remove fingers, staples and punch holes from a scan

What gets removed, and what doesn't
ScanMojo looks at the edges of the page, where fingers, staples and punch holes turn up. A finger resting over the middle of the text can't be removed without losing the words underneath, so hold pages by their margins.
